What we collect and why

• Your account: a sign-in identifier (Sign in with Apple, Google, or an anonymous guest ID) and a display name you choose — to run multiplayer sessions and save progress.
• Precise location (only while you play location-based content): nearby discovery, events, and treasure hunts, where it also senses how close you are to the next stop. Never in the background, and never kept as a movement history.
• One camera photo per hunt stop: some treasure-hunt stops unlock by photographing the place. When you take that photo, that single frame is sent to our servers and passed to a vision model to confirm you are there. It is used for that check and then discarded — we do not keep it and it is never used to train anything. The live augmented-reality camera view is different: it is rendered on your device and is never uploaded.
• Content you create: the game ideas you describe, the stories generated from them, names, and messages you send inside a session.
• Purchases: what you bought and whether it is still valid. Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google — we never see your card details.
• Gameplay measurements: completion times, challenge accuracy, and which features you use — to keep competitions fair and to improve the app.

Who else processes it

• Google Firebase — sign-in, and verifying that requests come from a genuine copy of the app.
• Cloudflare — our edge network, live multiplayer sessions, and the AI models that generate stories and check hunt photos (Cloudflare Workers AI).
• OpenAI — an additional model used for some story generation.
• Google Cloud — where our servers and database run.
• Apple / Google — purchases and push notifications.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and there is no advertising or cross-app tracking in DAFINA.

How long we keep it

Account data and content you create are kept while your account exists. Hunt verification photos are discarded immediately after the check. Gameplay measurements are kept for up to 24 months. Deleting your account removes all of it.

Children & family

Child profiles are guardian-managed, purchases sit behind a parental gate, and generated content passes safety filters before it is shown — for content aimed at children the filter blocks the story if the safety check cannot complete. We do not use children's data for advertising or profiling.

Your rights

Delete your account and all data anytime: Settings → Delete Account. You may also request a data export from within the app, or write to dafina.2026.game@gmail.com.
